Premiere of the play «The dead are deficited and the women are stripped»
Description:
By the performance group of the Taller de Teatre for the over 50s and under the direction of Marta Sorribas, the work based on the piece by Dario Fo, is a scathing and humorous criticism of society.
The story takes place in a theatrical tailoring where corpses and extravagant characters appear.
Free entrance limited to the capacity of the room.

Welcoming session for the first round of the UAB Summer School
Description:
Vice-rector for International Relations and Language Policy, Laura Santamaria, will welcome the 300 students of 58 nationalities who will participate in the first round of the UAB Summer School, which will take place from 25 June to 12 July.
The first round, which lasts three weeks, includes 13 subjects from different areas such as economics, biology, neuroscience, etc. and almost all will be offered in English.
In addition to classes, students will be able to enjoy a full programme of cultural and sports activities.

Love songs at the closing ceremony of the Universitat a l'Abast programme
Description:
Mariona Sagarra, composer, singer and disseminator, will offer a conference with music entitled "Love songs: the great theme! Word, music, feeling" at the closing ceremony of the 2023/24 academic year of the Universitat a l'Abast programme, offered by the UAB Graduate School. The event will take place on 25 June at 5 p.m., at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and will begin with a welcoming speech by UAB Rector Javier Lafuente, and the academic coordinator of the Universitat a l'Abast programme, Xavier Verge. At the end, an aperitif will be offered to the attendees. To attend, it is recommended to fill out the form available on the Universitat a l'Abast website.

Informative session on the MSCA-Staff Exchanges
Description:
The UAB Office for International Projects organises an informative session on the 2024 call for MSCA Staff Exchanges.
The MSCA Staff Exchanges projects aim to promote international, cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary innovative collaboration in research and innovation, through the exchange of personnel and the sharing of knowledge and ideas at all stages of the innovation chain.
It is a network call, the consortium must be formed by a minimum of three legal entities from three different countries, and research, technical, administrative and managerial staff supporting research and innovation activities can participate.
The session is aimed at UAB research staff. Registration is required to attend.
