Blood drive at the UAB
Description:
The UAB joins the new blood donation campaign of the Blood and Tissue Bank. Several areas of the campus will become a donation point. This campaign aims to make itself known among the younger generations of Catalonia, raise awareness and inform people about donating blood.
On 16 May, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and again from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., a blood drive will take place at the entrance hall of the Faculty of science and Biosciences. To participate, it is necessary to sign up in advance by choosing the most suitable time. This year, the Blood and Tissue Bank aims to build the first digital castle. Each donation is one more step to building this castle that represents a symbol of the collective effort of donating blood and the cohesion and connection that this gesture means between donors and recipients.
