Xavier Verge, new academic coordinator of Universitat a l'Abast

Xavier Verge is lecturer in the Department of Business. With a BSc in Economics (1987) and an MBA (2001) from the UAB, he has combined his experience in the business and technological world and was one of the academics to launch the UAB bachelor's degree in Business and Technology.

The institutional programme Universitat a l’Abast, offered through the UAB Graduate School, opens the University to all members of the community and offers a continuous learning approach connected to active ageing and new learning opportunities and social engagement. The academic programmes are adapted to the different needs and interests of community members. Its goal is for citizens to have the possibility to participate in initiatives that contribute to both their personal and social growth.
