This year's edition of the UAB Barcelona Summer School, which has been held online, included the participation of 221 UAB students and 24 international students.
The summer school was held from 22 June to 10 July, with a total of 309 enrolments (students could enrol in more than one course). Fourteen courses were taught in different academic areas, and all were offered fully in English, except for the course "Contemporary Spain through the Eye of the Movie Camera". This year's edition also included the Buddy Programme, a social programme aimed to help participants get to know each other.
The UAB Barcelona Summer School, aimed at undergraduate and graduate students, takes place every year, with on-site classes. This year, due to mobility problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, all courses were offered online and emphasis was made on the participation of UAB students. For undergraduate students, completing the courses represents validating 6 ECTS credits of their current degree studies.
