Would you like to mentor international students?

13/12/2016
The Mentor programme is designed to help international UAB students not only academically but also socially, all thanks to the collaboration of local students. Under the Mentor programme, mentors and mentored students need to belong to the same faculty to make it easier for them to help each other with their subjects and assignments. Over the first few days after the beginning of the semester, the mentor will guide the international students at welcome sessions and will provide them with orientation and guidance on accommodation, local cultural activities, etc.
Once you join the programme, you will be assigned from 3 to 10 international students, regardless of whether they are on the Erasmus or UAB Exchange programme. Joining the Mentor programme can be useful for those of you who are planning to go on an exchange or have been on one before, because it is a good way to keep in touch with the international atmosphere. You will also be able to learn how the exchange programme works from the inside.
The Mentor programme is designed to encourage cultural exchange, language practice and social relations on campus. If all this sounds good to you, registrations are open.
Being a mentor can be a truly gratifying experience! Want to join us?
