Workshops with a gender perspective are back
Joan Rivière Centre in psychology and gender together with the Observatory for equality organized three workshops on gender and psychology during this year 2015-2016. Registrations are already open and places are limited.

Three workshops will be held at the UAB’s Psychology Faculty during this year’s first semester. They will work from participatory and dynamic methodologies intended to generate discussion and collective reflection among participants.
Below, you will find a list of workshops and references:
- Hablamos de violencia machista: It aims to give tools to the students as future professionals to understand, detect and intervene in violence in relationships socioaffective issues from a gender perspective. It will be held on October 5th, 19th and 26th and November 2nd and 9th from 12:30 h to 15:30 h.
- Género y psicología: It aims to understand the main contributions of this perspective and its link with psychosocial problems today, in order to have an integrative look. Will take place on November 18th and 25th and December 2nd, 9th and 16th from 12:30 h to15:30 h.
- ¿Qué tienen en común la salud y el género?: This workshops’ goal is to reflect on the psychological concept of health that dominates in the analysis and intervention with the aim of incorporating the contributions made from the gender perspective and biopsychosocial. This workshop calendar is still to be confirmed.
