UAB, UB and UPF head the list of Spanish universities according to Times Higher Education

The UAB scored 39 points in the teaching quality index, 47.1 points in internationalisation, 37.3 in technology transfer, 35.7 in research and 62.8 in scientific citations. These scores place the UAB within the 201-225 range of the ranking, together with Pompeu Fabra University and University of Barcelona.
The first positions of the ranking at global level are occupied by the California Institute of Technology, CALTECH; Stanford University and Oxford University, which tie in second place. With regard to European universities, Oxford, Cambridge and the Imperial College of London occupy the first three positions.
In the rest of Spain, the university scoring highest is the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), in the 301-350 range, followed by the universities of Valencia, Polytechnic University of Valencia and Vigo, all three in the 351-400 range.
