Next Monday, 11 May, it will begin - with a welcoming event in the presence of the Honorable Dean of the Illustrious College of Law of Barcelona Mrs. Mª Eugènia Gay - the first 100% Online edition of the most innovative legal practice campus in Spain under the name Law Practice School - Online Edition. This on-line Campus Young Jurists responds to the demands of its students and associates across the country in the framework of the tragic pandemic COVID19 and incorporates the first trials 100% Online of the entire State (although simulated), in virtual and "judged" Courtrooms by Mr. Manuel Ruiz de Lara and Mrs. Maria Gavilán. The entity Young Jurists that the Uabers Héctor Cuenca, Andrea Mendiola and Carlos Izquierdo founded three years ago, and that currently the first two lead as President and Vice President, has become the most pioneer in legal practice training in Spain after 3 years carrying out the only simulations of trials of all Spain open to university students and carried out in authentic courtrooms and with the evaluation of Magistrates and Judges.

In this way , the entity born in our University echoes one of the currents of opinion in the legal field  appeared in the strange and difficult context in which we find ourselves: the need to modernize the Spanish justice system and to equip it with the means to adapt and overcome the extraordinary circumstances that we are experiencing. Different countries such as China, the United Kingdom, India or the United States of America have already done this change as and figures as prominent as the honorable Dean of the Illustrious College of Barcelona, Mª Eugènia Gay, or Juango Ospina, one of the most prominent penalists in Spain, if not the most, have stated informally but clearly in different live Instagram this need.  Young Jurists recognize it: "They have been an inspiration".

That is why for the first time the historic Campus Law Practice School, which was taking place in the city of Terrassa with the support of the City Hall and the Illustrious College of Law, - in the words of its organizers "The first campus that allows students of Bachelor, Double Degree and Master to live their professional future in a week" - adapts to a 100% online format. Moreover, it extends its target audience "to legal professionals and people in general who want to train in the future of the legal sector" (in addition to law students, Double Degrees with Law and Legal Masters) by including subjects such as social networks (run by the influencers Jurista Enloquecido and Andrea Mendiola, with more than 130,000 and 15000 followers on Instagram respectively), Legaltech (with the founders of the Balearic legal journal A Definitivas Felipe Herrera, Verónica Pedrón and Alberto Fernández), or Ciberdelincuencia (with Sara Antúnez, founder of Stop Haters, one of the first non-profit organizations in Spain dedicated to fighting cyber-bullying, and TQ Abogados) ."You have to row even harder when there is a storm" says Hèctor Cuenca, President of Young Jurists and Director of Law Practice School Online Edition, regarding the renewed version of the Campus. Talking about the utility of this new version for lawyers who practice, adds "Although they will find some classes more useful than others, since the "background" classes are addressed to Undergraduate, Double degree and Master students, the low price of the Campus (at 25 euros for more than 30 hours of classes) and the absolute flexibility to enjoy it at your convenience (with the option to do so deferred throughout May and June) make it worthwhile to stop and have a look.”

The Campus will start on 11 May and counts on the invaluable collaboration of the Illustrious College of Law of Barcelona, the Mutual Society of Lawyers, and the Young Lawyers Association of Madrid.
