The UAB, top public university in Spain in Employability
The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona debutes this year in the Global University Employability Ranking and occupies position 136 worldwide and is the top university among all public universities in Spain.

The first two top positions of universities in Spain are occupied by the private centres Instituto de Empresa (IE University) and University of Navarra. Harvard University, the California Institute of Technology and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology are the three leading centres in this international ranking.
The classification, consisting in a list of the top 150 universities according to number of students finding employability, is based on opinions by job offerers across the globe. It is published exclusively by the Times Higher Education and has been compiled by Emerging, an independent human resources consultancy based in France. It is the only ranking to take into account the viewpoints of the international market. For this edition, the ranking took into account a total of 91,000 votes compiled by an independent institute and based on surveys conducted with the leading companies working with university graduates, in 23 different countries. It is the second international ranking of universities most consulted by businesses.
