The UAB to select UNICAT ambassador for the 2022/23 academic year
The university will select one student to promote the professional opportunities of the European Union among members of the university community. The experience will also help to enrich the student's academic record. deadline for applications is 30 September.

The UAB once again participates in the Ambaixadors/es UNICAT programme, which offers support to the EU Careers Ambassador thanks to a network of student ambassadors from several Catalan universities. The UAB therefore is looking for a new student to act as ambassador during this new academic year, and whose task it will be to inform and guide students and graduates interested in career opportunities available at the EU institutions.
The person selected will give information about and promote the professional opportunities and work placements available at the institutions, and must fulfil the following requirements:
- Be enrolled at the UAB in the 2022/23 academic year (and preferibly also in 2023/24).
- Speak foreign languages.
- Ability to use social networks as a professional tool.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Eager to learn and share your knowledge, with capacity for adaptation and great organisational skills, and with an innovative and creative spirit.
The UAB's UNICAT ambassador will work together with the EU Careers Ambassador and will attend a training course in Brussels, where they will visit several institutions located in this city. The position as student ambassador will therefore be a position with responsibilities which will enrich them personally and professionally: by acquiring new career skills and experience in marketing, public relations, advertising and human resources.

The Ambaixadors/es UNICAT programme is run by the Delegation of the Government of Catalonia to the European Union, the Inter-University Council of Catalonia, and the participating universities, with the support of the Secretariat of Universities and Research. At the UAB, it is the Office of the Vice Rector for International Relations and the Job Opportunities' Centre which is in charge of choosing the new UNICAT ambassador.
