The UAB to pay tribute to lecturer Margot Pujal in the institutional event celebrating 8M
The UAB Observatory for Equality once again organises the institutional event to commemorate International Women's Day. The event will take place on Wednesday 6 March at 12 noon at the conference hall of the Rectorat building, and will be presided by Rector Javier Lafuente. This year tribute will be paid to Margot Pujal, lecturer in the UAB Department of Social Psychology. The event will be streamed live on the UAB's YouTube channel.

Pujal has focused her latest research on issues such as colonial gender systems, stigmas, sexual labour, debinarising gender, and gender-based violence. Currently, she coordinates the DES-Subjectant.GESPI group, focused on "the social study of subjectivity and subjection from an intersectional gender perspective", and she was also coordinator of the Joan Rivière Psychology and Gender Centre.
The institutional event also will include speeches by UAB Secretary General Esther Zapater, and by Maria Prats, director of the Observatory for Equality, who will talk about the drafting of the UAB's 5th Gender Equality Action Plan.
