The UAB to host the 6th edition of the Asian Culture Day
The UAB will be holding the 6th edition of its Asian Culture Day on 11 March. This annual event aims to highlight the richness and diversity of Asian cultures. The day will include activities held from 12 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the Plaça Cívica of the Bellaterra campus, organised by the UAB Community Involvement Unit.

This year the event will include the participation of nine student associations and cultural entities: the UAB Chinese Students Association, the Confucius Institute of Barcelona, the Sejong Institute of Barcelona, the Raikantopiini Club, the UAB Korean Club, the UAB Asian Club, the UAB Office of Japanese Studies - JF Sakura Asia, the Korean Consulate in Barcelona and Cine Asia. Attendees will be able to enjoy a wide selection of activities designed to immerse them in Asian traditions, such as Chinese and Japanese calligraphy workshops and gastronomic tastings of Korean and Chinese dishes.
In addition, there will be "lion dance" performances and the popular K-pop Random Play Dance activity, which will invite participants to join in and enjoy choreographed Korean pop music. The day will also offer spaces where attendees can try on traditional costumes, participate in traditional games and learn about the customs and festivities of the various cultures mentioned.
The UAB Asian Culture Day has established itself as an outstanding event in the university calendar, as it promotes cultural exchange and fosters understanding and respect between different communities. Admission is free and the day is open to all those interested in learning about and celebrating Asian cultural diversity.
