The UAB ranks 3rd top university in Europe in number of international students
The first edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024 classifies 690 universities across Europe, placing the UAB at number 66 and third in international students.
The UAB ranks among the top three European universities that are of most interest to international students, according to the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024, the first edition of a new classification focusing on universities across Europe. The classification places the UAB at number 66 in Europe out of the 690 universities analysed, and gives it the maximum points possible, 100 out of 100, in exchange students, placing the UAB in third position among all European universities in this area. With regard to UAB students participating in exchange programmes abroad, the UAB scores 76.4 points.
The UAB also stands out in sustainability, being the 25th top university in this area in the new ranking, with a score of 95.8 points. In academic reputation, the University scored 88.2 points and ranks 35th in Europe. This new QS classification also highlights the UAB’s good connection to international research networks, with 85.9 points, and scientific production, in which the UAB comes in 46th place with regards to number of research papers published per researcher.
The QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024 is conducted by the analytics company Quacquarelli Symonds. The first three positions in this ranking are occupied by the University of Oxford, the ETH Zürich, and the University of Cambridge.
