The UAB Festa Major 2019 is here!

The UAB Festa Major's slogan this year is "Climate Emergency: the UAB Acts!". As in previous years, the FM slogan forms part of a set of actions prepared by the whole of the university community (students, PAS and PDI) to convert climate emergency into the focus of interest of academic, research and student participation activities.

3:00 p.m. Covers Exhibition organised by the students' Korean Club
3:45 p.m. Proclamation of the UAB Hereu and Pubilla organised by Pubillatge UAB

Are you familiar with the game Tabú? How would you fare playing in a different language? Visit the Community Involvement stand from 3p.m. to 5p.m. and demonstrate how many words you can say in a limited amount of time and how many new words you can discover.

This year the university invites its students to act and step up to the fight against climate change. The UAB is committed to adding its grain of sand in making change possible and invites students to propose changes to politicians who can act and promote more sustainable universities. You can do it in the language of your choice! Visit theLanguages Service stand at the Plaça Cívica on FMUAB and leave a message in our envelope.

Interested in learning about what UAB delegates work on? Want to test your strength and leadership skills? Visit the Community Involvement stand from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and discover how student delegates work on the field!
UAB Association of Chinese Students
In addition to learning about the Chinese culture and food, with dumplings, edamame and milk tea, the university community will discover the environmental protection projects taking place in China, and in particular find information on the Ant Forest project. You will also learn to make Chinese knots and be able to take pictures with the Panda photocall!Centre for Associations' Resources
The Showcase of the Centre for Associations' Resources and its exhibitions aim to give visibility and value to the tasks conducted by the associations to foster university community involvement. This month's exhibition is dedicated to groups fighting against climate change and offering ecological alternatives on campus: Assemblea ecologista, L’hortet de l’Autònoma and Assemblea vegana.UAB Theatre and Cinema Hall

1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Punt Lila at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting
The Punt Lila is and information and awareness-raising stand organised by the Observatory for Equality where people can go to in case of being victim of or witness of a gender violence case during the FMUAB19, or are interested in information on UAB resources in case of episodes of violence (intervention, assessment, psychological support, etc). Members of the Punt Lila will be located in different parts of the campus during the Festa Major.
2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Infosalut, information stand on health, sexuality and drug consumption
The FAS Health Stand promoted by Infosalut will be available to answer questions and offer sex health products, such as condoms and lubricants, alcoholimeters, games, and information on drugs, sexuality and gender. In addition to the stand, several Health Agents will be available to test what students know about and commonly do at parties.Concerts PLAÇA DEL CONEIXEMENT
