The Hortet of the UAB holds a permaculture workshop

The Hortet of the UAB collective began a permaculture and introduction to agroecology course on Friday, March 16th. The workshop will end next Saturday 24th.

The collective of the Hortet of the UAB, with the support of the Unit of Community Involvement, performs the workshop of permaculture and introduction to agroecology in the Hortet of the Autonomous. The course is in charge of Arnau Montserrat, promoter of Remenat and the herbalist of the Can Masdéu Valley since 2005.

The workshop combines theory and practice, including the creation of a spiral of aromatics. It is a space for debate on the current agrarian system, to understand the technical foundations of organic farming and training in soil fertility, prevention and treatment of plagues or plant multiplication.

The first session was held on Friday, March 16th and addressed the topic "agrobusiness vs. Agroecology. Technical foundations of agroecology ». The workshop will end on Saturday 24th with the creation of an aromatic spiral.
