Successful P-Sphere networking meeting
The UAB organised a meeting of researchers involved in the P-Sphere Cofund project to encourage synergies and collaborations.
Last 7th June the UAB organised a meeting to gather all the P-Sphere researchers in order to strengthen links and boost future collaborations amongst participants. These postdoctoral fellows, who develop their research in several UAB sphere institutions and fields, had the opportunity to meet each other and to reflect on their career prospects. The session was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Transference, Dr. Armand Sánchez, who highlighted the strategic relevance of the P-Sphere project in the UAB context and within the framework of the European programme Horizon 2020. The meeting also counted on consolidated researchers who shared their professional experiences.
After a networking brunch where directors, supervisors and fellows had the opportunity to exchange views on the session, a team building activity was organised. The aim of this activity was to work on the participants’ ability to solve challenges and face unforeseen situations within a team.
Funded by the European Commission’s Marie S. Curie programme and with the participation of UAB-CIE Sphere centres, the P-Sphere programme counts on 49 international experienced researchers from diverse multidisciplinary fields and is linked to the strategic challenges of the HORIZON 2020 programme.
