Standing Committee elected for the 2015-16 academic year

Jessica Marqués Hurtado’s candidacy was the winner of the elections with 23 votes, compared with Marta Besona Monclús’s candidacy, which obtained 15 votes. With a total of 40 votes, 21 via mail and 19 in-person, the turnout was 88.9%.

The time for voting in the UAB Student Council’s Standing Committee elections has ended. The Standing Committee is formed by the President, the vice president, the UAB Student Council Secretary and up to 10 more members. All the members are chosen by the UAB Student Council Plenary and its term of office is of one academic year, which can be extended for another year.

This year two candidacies were submitted for voting, and the voting period was open from 5 March via email, and on 10 March in the Resource Centre for Student Societies. The first candidacy, submitted by David Montpeyó Garcia-Moreno, was formed by Jessica Marqués Hurtado (president), David Montpeyó (secretary) and Daniel Edward Price Croft, Alfonso Salinas, Jordi Rodó Morera, Marc Berengueras Benaiges, Eric Bermúdez Cervantes, Albert Gil López and Òscar Gómez.

The second candidacy was submitted by Marta Benosa Monclús, and was formed by Marta Benosa Monclús (president), Daniel Martí Tubau (vice-president), Marc Comerma Sánchez (general secretary) and Laura Gràcia Jodar, David Vilà Aragonès, Judit Abelló Franch, Pol Conte Santiago, Natàlia Càmera Camacho, Nil Homedes Busquets, Gisela Ferro, Carles Porta Sabaté, y Cristina Puig Fontanet.
