The Estable Group and the Theatre Interpretation Groups Level 1 and Level 2 will open their doors on March 26 and 27 to bring theatre closer to all audiences. During these two days, starting at 17:30 h and 15:30 h respectively, it will be possible to immerse oneself in the world of performing arts education by attending the first part of the rehearsal of these three UAB groups as spectators.

Imatge dia mundial teatre

The UAB's Estable Theatre Group, directed by Ricard Gázquez, has been one of the most recognized groups in university theatre for years. Throughout the academic year, they focus on the interpretation and revision of classics, contemporary texts, or collective creation works. To conclude, they perform a play at the end of the course, and this year it will be a staging of the text Entre nosaltres tot va bé, by Polish author Dorota Maslowska. This text, translated into Catalan by one of the members of the Estable Theatre Group and adapted by Ricard Gázquez, is one of the author's major works, known for its strength and the importance she gives to language. The rehearsal will be available for viewing on Wednesday, March 26, starting at 17:30 h at the Sala Teatre UAB, located at Plaça Cívica.

On the other hand, you can also attend the class of Theatre Interpretation Level 1 as an observer on Thursday, March 27, from 15:30 h to 17:30 h. Directed by Màrcia Cisteró, the actors will rehearse a current and fun play, where the audience will be able to empathize greatly with the characters. Sobre el fenomen de les feines de merda, by Jaon Yago, covers the absurd and unconventional situations that occur in various jobs which, according to Yago, could be considered useless or "shitty jobs."

At the same time, from 17:30 h to 20:30 h, the rehearsal of the Theatre Interpretation Workshop Level 2 by Arnau Vidal will also take place. The group is preparing a play by Matéi Visniec, a playwright known for his strange and poetic plays, which are embodied here in the play Els paparazzis o crònica d’una sortida de sol avortada. With eight actors, each portraying several characters, an unusual and suggestive atmosphere will be created where the characters will encounter a dramatic situation with touches of comedy.
