Created by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, the Universitat de Barcelona, the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and the Universitat de Girona, the programme gives PhD candidates and students from the member universities the necessary tools for creating a tech company.

De la ciència al mercat

De la Ciència al Mercat is a well of knowledge: a three-month programme consisting of 100 hours of lessons on technology and knowledge transfer, as well as business growth, and even 10 hours of individual sessions with experts from the sector.

The programme is aimed at master’s and PhD students with disrupting technology who want to transform their thesis or dissertation into a business or become part of an entrepreneurial team. Thus, the themes addressed during the courses will be focused on entrepreneurship, the value and protection of knowledge, and business management and skills.

Thanks to the past editions of the programme, more than a hundred participants have helped create eight spin-offs: Sensorial Processing Technology Barcelona, Mitiga Solutions, Zymbol Biomodeling, Meetoptics, NOVAMEAT, Gate2Brain, Koa Biotech, and Vaiove Logistics.

De la Ciència al Mercat will take place from October to December, with presential sessions taking place on the StartUB Lab Satèl·lit (Av. Diagonal 696 · Facultat d’Economia i Empresa · Barcelona).
