Next Monday, 3 March at 10:00 a.m. in the UAB Cinema Hall, the documentary No apto para cobardes will be screened, a film by Nuria Silván Miracle that portrays the viewpoints of fifty women on topics such as menopause, sex in maturity, and loneliness.

This documentary centres around the sincere reflections of women who find themselves at the midpoint of their lives. A film where they open up and share their perspectives at fifty years old without complexes or shame. This documentary represents an honest, yet also entertaining, story where issues like the fear of ageing or death lose their seriousness and are addressed in a frank and moving way.

This story uses the number fifty as a connecting point, as it also lasts fifty minutes. Not for the faint-hearted, proposed by the Research Group in Geography and Gender, it takes the viewer on a journey through life and the different perspectives of the women protagonists. An ideal story to commemorate International Women's Day from an empathetic and critical perspective

No apto para cobardes is the result of collecting stories from a group of women who, according to the author, "resist being pushed aside by society when they turn fifty," because they know that "this stage of their lives needs to be told."

Nuria Silván Miracle presents this work not as an investigation or study, but as an audiovisual piece that simply wants to give a voice to these women.
