New CYCLE UAB insurance

The UAB, in collaboration with ÓMNIBUS Insurance Broker, has designed the CYCLE UAB Insurance. It is the first integral insurance to UAB Campus cyclists, whose aim is to cover the different kind of risk situations. Insurance available from 9,68€/year.

More each time the bicycle is an alternative mode of transport for our daily journeys, which causes a new urban mobility scenario. However, this kind of journey, for their features, can causes a series of risk situations (personal damages or to third parties). For this reason, the UAB recommends to cyclists to have insurance to suit their needs.

Recently, the UAB, in collaboration with ÓMNIBUS Insurance Broker, has designed the CYCLE UAB Insurance. The first integral insurance to UAB Campus cyclists, whose aim is to cover the different kind of risk situations.

It’s a insurance of Public Liability and Legal Defense, aimed at people who use often the bicycle and who belong to the UAB Community (students, Academic staff and researchers (PDI) and Administrative and Service Staff (PAS)).

The CYCLE UAB offers a range of coverage in accordance to user needs. It’s annual, exclusive and personal and it have an economic price of 9,68€ each year.

In case of user desires a broader insurance, its offers two products more, whose differences, both in prices and coverage, you can check here. The CYCLE UAB insurance and the Basic policy and personal damages have a fix price. If the user want insure his cycle in front of theft, the price will depend on the value of the same.
