Ferran Rodés receives the José María Ricarte Award for creativity
Ferran Rodés, publicist and president of the administration council of the newspaper Ara, recently received the José María Ricarte Award for creativity, an award given jointly by the Publiradio Research Group in Advertising and Radiophonic Communication at the UAB and the Advertising Business Association of Catalonia (Advertising Guild).The awards ceremony was held on 29 November at the UAB Casa Convalescència and included the participation of UAB Vice Rector for Communication and Promotion Virginia Luzón.
Rodés has studied at several prestigious institutes, including Gresham College in London and Stanford University. His professional trajectory includes working at businesses such as Havas Media, Acciona, Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Banesto, Media Planning and Neometrics. He was also president of the Advisors' Committee for Sustainable Development of the Government of Catalonia and president of the Board of Trustees of the Antoni Tàpies Foundation.
The José María Ricarte National Creativity Award acknowledges the contributions of entities and individuals in the area of advertising and communication. This award is also a tribute to the scriptwriter, advertising creative and professor of the UAB Faculty of Communication Studies José María Ricarte Bescós (1932-2010).
