This initiative will allow UAB students to work in international groups with other European students. The activity will end with a 3-day stay at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, from 26 to 28 May.

The European Student Assembly (ESA) organises a global event that aims to bring together 250 students from different European university alliances to connect students from all over Europe in a joint effort to promote change, work for a better tomorrow and make their voices heard.

From February to May 2025, the 250 European students will work together in groups where, using online sessions, they will address eight discussion topics related to mental health, a greener future, innovation, artificial intelligence and democracy, education after graduation, living with dignity, inequalities and diversity.

These working sessions will culminate in a three-day face-to-face event at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, from 26 to 28 May, where students will be able to explain policy recommendations to the various actors in European political life.

Registration open to students of the ECIU University

The event is open to students of all nationalities, fields of knowledge and levels of study (from the second year onwards), as long as they are enrolled in an institution that forms part of the ECIU University.

The selection of students, by ESA and the European University Alliances, will be made according to criteria such as students' interest in European politics, culture and society, soft skills to participate in an intercultural event, motivation to explore, develop and defend opinion on the topics of discussion, and their commitment to have an impact on their community.

Registration will remain open until 1 December. Selected candidates will be announced on 15 January 2025 for coordinators and on 5 February 2025 for participants.
