Do we know what depression represents? World Health Day
In commemoration of World Health Day volunteers from the FAS health programme have organised on 6 April a treasure hunt to help UAB members become aware of what it is to live with depression, a disorder not often talked about.

To address the subject, on 6 April volunteers have organised an activity called “L’odissea diària” (The Everyday Odyssey), a "treasure hunt" which aims to help UAB members reflect upon and become aware of depression in a university environment, and use it as a tool to differentiate between sadness and depression, between having a bad day and being in a bad moment, etc. All students interested in participating will be able to learn a bit more about what it is like to suffer from depression while they overcome different obstacles: they will be able to experience the physical and mental exhaustion, the distortion in how reality is perceived, the profound sadness felt, etc.
As in previous editions, the itinerant stand on health and sexuality Xiringu will also be at the Plaça Cívica, ready to inform all members of the UAB.
If you are interested in learning more about the reality of depression, come see us at the Plaça Cívica on 6 April from 1 to 3 p.m!
