The JIPI -Interdisciplinary Meeting of Predoctoral Researches- would like to become a meeting point for all predoctoral researches in Catalunya, where the possibility to meet researches of other fields becomes a real possibility. It also aims to give answers to scary questions such as... Who might be interested in my research? Is it useful? What can I do after the PhD?

The meeting consists on a series of short talks grouped in thematic sessions with a broad scope. Talks ranging from Physics, to Medicine and Sociology were presented in previous editions, so all fields of knowledge are welcome!

Additionally, debate sessions and networking activities will take place during the day. A session will also be devoted to discuss about transparency in science, covering issues related to open access to data, publications and research resources.

The 5th JIPI will be held on Thursday February the 9th in the Paranymph of the historical building of the University of Barcelona. Attendance to the meeting is open to everyone, but registration is required to give a talk or present a poster.

The deadline for registration is January 18th, 2017.
