4th Century BC Experts Meet at UAB

The meeting has been organised by the UAB and the Autonomous University of Madrid, with the support of the Alliance of 4 Universities (A4U). The conference aims to provide the possibility for experts to share projects and establish contacts with other researchers for future collaborations. The contents of the conference will be included in a monograph.
The opening speech will be given by Domingo Plácido, professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, and is entitled "Greek Cities in the Fourth Century: a century of changes". The meeting will take place on 12 December at 10 am.
Other conferences will be grouped into seven themes: Athens and Aegeus, Sparta and Peloponnese, Macedonia, Boeotia and Central Greece, Sicily and Magna Greece, the Hellenic culture of the 4th century, and contacts with other peoples. The different sessions will touch on a wide range of subjects related to aspects of religion, culture, politics, economy, military, etc.
