The UAB's Argó Programme organises summer courses and stays for secondary school students
The UAB, through its Argó Programme offered by the Institute of Education (ICE), launches its summer courses and stays for 2025.Two different initiatives addressed to secondary, upper secondary and vocational training students interested in discovering a university campus and learning more about the academic and research world.

The summer courses, aimed at students in first and second year of secondary school, upper secondary and vocational training courses, will be held between 25 June and 11 July at the UAB campus. The training offer includes proposals in areas such as artificial intelligence, health and the digital world, and is taught by UAB lecturers. In addition, as a novelty, two specific courses have been programmed for first and second year students: “Digital world: from bits to artificial intelligence” and “Technology and artificial intelligence for health”.
The courses last one week (except for the week from 25 to 27 June, shorter due to a public holiday) and run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a 30-minute break. Prices are 57 euros for the three-day week and 94 euros for the other weeks. A 50% discount is also offered for students from highly complex educational centres.
The summer stays are aimed at students currently in their first year of upper secondary school. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate for two weeks with research groups, laboratories, departments and centres of the UAB. These stays are aimed at guiding students in their academic and professional future through a first experience in a university and scientific environment.
The stays will take place mornings from 25 June to 11 July, with a total duration of 50 hours. They include a presentation session, academic orientation and research activities, and a closing ceremony with the presentation of the work developed, and the awarding of diplomas. The registration fee is 40 euros and there are two free places reserved for students from highly complex centres. The deadline for registration is 20 May.
With these initiatives, the Argó programme reaffirms its commitment to educational guidance and bringing the university closer to young people, by promoting scientific vocations and interest in research already in the early stages of learning.
