-Professors María Jesús García Morales and Sandra Camacho awarded at the ICAB Awards Gala
The event was held on 28 February at the Palauet Casades, where the outstanding careers of jurists, journalists, social entities and research projects in different areas of law were awarded.
At the ICAB Awards Gala, held at the Palauet Casades, the work of two outstanding professors was recognised: María Jesús García Morales and Sandra Camacho. María Jesús García Morales was awarded the Maria Soteras i Mauri Prize for her work “Las primeras juristas y la igualdad jurídica de la mujer: recuperando a Concha Peña y el legado de pioneras desconocidas”, which highlights key historical figures in the fight for gender equality in the legal field.
Sandra Camacho received the Ferrer Eguizábal Extraordinary Edition 2024 Award, dedicated to the legal challenges of artificial intelligence (AI). Her research project, “Challenges in Intellectual Property Law and Data Protection regulations in the different processes of Generative AI”, addresses the legal implications in intellectual property and data protection in the context of generative AI.
