Poetry recital to commemorate International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

The event formed part of a series of activities organised by the UAB's Equality and Diversity Service. On Tuesday 26 November at 12 noon, the Theatre Hall of the Àgora building will host the performance of the play Assetja-ments by the company 2x2 IMPRO, the first improvisation company led by two women on stage. The play aims to break social taboos through humour, in which the artists invite the audience to reflect on and deconstruct traditional concepts, all from the perspective of a transversal feminism that drives change and social awareness.

And on 20 November, at the Hotel de Entidades, a feminist self-defense workshop organised by the Biterna collective took place. This workshop provided a space for participants to learn self-defense techniques that can be useful in dangerous situations.
