The informative conference series "Veus" is back

The aim of “Veus” is to share knowledge generated at the University and aimed at a global audience.

Seven speakers will participate in this second edition, who will talk, among other topics, about the environmental impact of the clothes we no longer want, the importance of voice in linguistic interpretation, the work in mental health beyond the clinical context, and misinformation and the disconnection between public debate and research.

The speakers have been selected by a UAB committee. The committee took into account the relevance of the proposals, from any area of knowledge, which took on a challenge arising from society and proposed a viable solution. The participants received prior training on communication skills and also had the support of the UAB in the preparation of their conference and any materials they needed.
