New exhibition entitled "L'Altra Mirada de la Recerca" at the UAB Faculty of Medicine
Starting on 18 September, an exhibition with the best images from the Vall d'Hebron's scientific photo competition will be on display at the Faculty of Medicine, Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Vall d'Hebron scientific photo exhibition "L'altra mirada de la recerca" [The Other Side of Research] continues its tour around the country. Starting on 18 September it will be available at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB).
"The Other Side of Research" includes a selection of images chosen from among the best photographs of the first 13 years of the Vall d'Hebron Campus Scientific Photography Competition. The photographs, selected from a total of more than 600 submitted, make up an artistic account of what scientists see, experiment and research in their daily lives, with a naked eye or through a microscope. The exhibition is based on the interaction between science and art to show society research from an innovative perspective through the beauty of the images.
The exhibition was first presented in January 2021 at the Palau Robert in Barcelona and since then has been on display at the Vall d'Hebron Children's Hospital and Women's Hospital in Igualada, Westfield Glòries in Barcelona, Westfield La Maquinista in Barcelona, the Corporate Center of the Catalan Institute of Health (ICS), the Diagonal Mar Shopping Centre and the Vilamarina Shopping Centre.
Those who have not yet seen the exhibition can enjoy it in the lobby of the UAB Faculty of Medicine (Edifici M, Avda. de Can Domènech, Bellaterra), Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
