UAB Libraries launch a new portal with a more intuitive, accessible and modern design

The main novelty of this menu is that users will be able to choose the contents they find most relevant according to their profile (under section Information for). 

The UAB Libraries kick of the 2024/25 academic year with a new Libraries portal, more in line with the corporate identity and image of the University. Navigating around the website is now easier and contents have been rearranged to make them more accessible to the entire university community. It is also now available for all mobile devices.   

The website offers a main menu in which all the Services and information resources can be found, as well as several physical and digital book Collections. Under the Discover the libraries section, there is informaiton on how each library is organised, opening hours, publications, prizes and much more!

The new website is currently offered in Catalan, but will soon be made available in Spanish and English as well. During the months of September and October, the finishing touches will be put on site contents and links. 

this initiative forms part of the general renovation taking place progressively at the UAB since 2021, where optimisations are being made to the navigation of each site to offer improvements in usability and accessibility, making the contents easier to find and read.
