The UAB ranks among the world's top 200 universities
In the new edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2025, the UAB ranks 199th and forms part of the top 200 universities worldwide.

In the 2025 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE-WUR 2025), the UAB is ranked 199th in the world, an improvement from the 201st to 250th position it occupied last year.
The UAB obtains its best results in the most important areas of the ranking: Research Environment (224th), Teaching (229th) and Research Quality (230th).
With regard to other universities in Spain, the UAB is in third position, behind the University of Barcelona, in 149th position, and the Pompeu Fabra University, which occupies the 176th position in the ranking.
