Two UAB lecturers to participate in the «Smart education for innovative teaching» challenge
From 31 January to 2 February, the University of Stavanger, Norway, is offering a challenge-based course entitled «Smart education for innovative teaching», aimed at lecturers using challenge-based methodology with their students. UAB lecturers Begonya Saez (Department of Philosophy) and Laura Talens (ICTA-UAB) will participate in the course.

The «Smart education for innovative teaching» challenge aims to dig deeper into the methodology of challenge-based learning by providing lecturers with new skills and innovative teaching methods, exploring the latest generation of paedogogies and tools, proposing bases for micro-modules, and fostering collaborations and a sense of community among academic members of the ECIU University.
For 3 days, participants will attend sessions which will include an introduction to the challenge, an icebreaker activity, the creation of teams made up of 5/6 people, guided brainstorming activities and debates, and finally a presentation of the results and summary of the work carried out.
The challenge will be conducted by instructors from the University of Stavanger, the Kaunas University of Technology and the Lodz University of Technology.
