Scientific meeting on peripheral nervous system lesions

26/06/2017
Specialists from around the world will present and debate on their latest work on the molecular and cellular mechanisms involved in lesions of the peripheral nervous system, as well as the new therapeutic developments to promote axonal regeneration and the functional recovery of affected patients.
The symposium, which has been partially organised by the European Society for the Study of Peripheral Nerve Repair and Regeneration, will include four plenary sessions by researchers Lars Dahlin (University of Lund), Jordi Serra (Neurotechnologies), Douglas Zochodne (University of Calgary) and Xavier Navarro (UAB).
The programme will include oral presentacions and a posters exhibition with the aim of promoting a multi-disciplinary debate among both basic and clinical researchers on the emergence of new joint projects.
Founded in 2014, the European Society for the Study of Peripheral Nerve Repair and Regeneration unites European researchers dedicated to the study of the effects of peripheral nerous system lesions and to the research of new strategies to repair these lesions.
