Tim Allen is a theoretical ecologist at the University of Wisconsin (USA) pioneer in the so-called hierarchy theory. Taking advantage of his visit to the UAB, we ask him three questions on the inability of science to deal with environmental problems and on the contribution that this theory can make to overcome the current impasse.
