New blood donation campaign at the UAB
The UAB once again will take part in the Blood and Tissue Bank campaign with several blood donation areas set up around campus.

It is estimated that every day 1,000 blood donations are needed throughout Catalonia to meet the demands of patients admitted to hospitals. For this reason, the Blood and Tissue Bank has launched a campaign in Catalan public universities to make itself known among the younger generations of Catalonia, raise awareness and sensitise about this act that has a direct and positive impact on society, and increase blood reserves.
UAB blood donations calendar
- Faculty of Psychology and Faculty of Arts & Humanities: 25 and 26 September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Faculty of Science and Biosciences: 26 September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; 27 September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Faculty of Law: 30 September from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Faculty of Medicine: 8 October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.; 9 October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Faculty of Veterniary Medicine: 28 and 29 October from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Vila Universitària: 6 November from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
