The UAB hosts the 12th Meeting for Gender Equality of the Vives Network of Universities
The meeting, organised by the Vives Network and the UAB's new Equality and Diversity Service, will be held on 17 and 18 October at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

This year, the inter-university meeting will focus on the prevention and repair when dealing with violence against women at university. The meeting will consist in equality units from the institutions forming part of the Vives Network of Universities participating in activities that will last the whole day.
The programme will begin with a debate on “Preventing violence against women as an intervention axis: building safe spaces at university”, with the participation of Montserrat Iglesias, Noemí Canelles and Míriam Comet.
Another activity that will be open to the public will be the conference on “Repair as an intervention axis when dealing with violence against women at university”, by Tania Sordo, research lawyer at the UC3M.
The day will end with a workshop entitled “Self-care in the management of violence against women and lgtbi-phobics at universities", at the multi-purpose hall of the Àgora building.
The following day will consist in a meeting with the gender equality work group of the Vives Network of Universities.
