The Faculty of Communication Studies organises an electoral debate among the candidates aspiring to the post of rector of the UAB: Javier Lafuente Sancho, Carme Miralles Guasch and Hèctor Sala Lorda.
The radio debate, which will take place on the year of the 100th anniversary of the radio, will take place on Monday 28 October between 4 and 5:30 p.m. at the faculty's radio studio 2, and will be moderated by Montserrat Pérez Creus, lecturer of the Department of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.

The elections for rector of the UAB will take place on 29 and 30 October. In the event that none of the three candidates obtains an absolute majority (over 50% of the weighted vote) in the first round, the two candidates with the highest percentages of weighted vote will contest a second round on 6 and 7 November.
Rector elections will be held entirely by electronic voting. This system allows an easier management of vote count and facilitates the task, which will be done through the platform prepared for this purpose, with the usual NIU and password. Any person who is part of the census will be able to cast their vote from any computer terminal in their workplace or from any device with Internet connection, from any place (without the need to be on campus).
For any doubts or questions about the elections, please contact the Office for Institutional Coordination at eleccions@uab.cat.
