List of three candidates for rector provisionally declared eligible
The UAB’s General Election Board provisionally announces a list of three candidates for rector: Javier Lafuente Sancho, Carme Miralles Guasch and Hèctor Sala Lorda.

The period to apply for changes to this provisional list of candidates is 17 to 20 October 2024.
The final electoral register of these elections was published on 18 October and already includes all the changes requested by voters and accepted by the General Electoral Board. The electoral campaign will begin on 21 October 2024, after the definitive proclamation of the candidacies.
Voting will take place on 29 and 30 October. In the event that no candidate obtains an absolute majority (over 50% of the weighted vote) in the first round, the two candidates with the highest percentage of weighted vote will compete in a second round on 6 and 7 November.
The rector's elections will be held entirely by electronic voting. This system allows a more agile management of the vote count and facilitates voting per se, which will be done through a platform prepared exclusively for this purpose, and will require the usual NIU and password to access. Any person who is part of the census can cast their vote from any computer terminal in their workplace or from any device withiInternet connection, from anywhere (there is no need to be on campus).
