Master description

The main aim of this advanced training in paediatric physiotherapy is to offer the health service physiotherapists who are able to join multidisciplinary teams to attend efficiently to therapeutic and preventative needs in all areas of health, from hospital to health centre patients of all ages, both adult and paediatric and at all levels from intensive care to home care, and who are also trained in research methodology based on clinical practice. This training also has other objectives:
  • Attend to therapeutic and preventative needs efficiently, centred on the improvement and promotion of good health according to the different areas of intervention in physiotherapy.
  • Acquire advanced knowledge in the different areas of physiotherapy and health through research and clinical practice.
  • React critically to information and acquire independently related knowledge and be able to formulate ideas, judgements and evaluations free from errors of concept or generalised opinions with no scientific basis
  • Apply research methodology based on clinical practice with the aim of being able to generate, share and disseminate knowledge about health.
