Bachelor's Degree in Labour Relations

Work placements are optional 12-credit subjects you may take in your fourth year. They serve to put into practice the education received in the classroom.

The activities carried out by students are related mainly to the human resource management and work assessments: learning about different types of work contracts, methods for work schedule control, administration, selection and training, labour agreement benchmarking, studies on seniority, support to negotiation committees, follow-ups on the conciliations conducted by the CMAC (Centro de Mediación, Arbitraje y Conciliación), follow-ups on selection processes, handling the most common computer systems used for administrative documents, specific research projects, security and health, occupational risk prevention, etc.

Work placements are carried out at the different organisations which have a collaboration agreement with the Faculty of Law (assessment agencies, employment agencies, labour cooperatives, and social security and public administration offices).

There are a variety of possible work placements so that all students can take this optional subject and gain practical training.
