Photographic exhibition “Researcher’s life: inside/outside the lab”

“Researcher’s life: inside/outside the lab” uses photography to explain what predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers from the Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG), located on the UAB campus, do, and also how they spend their leisure time.
Two photographs, taken by Carla Sedini and Michela Osnato, are displayed of each person. In the first portrait we see them surrounded by plants and developing their work. And in the second, already without the white coat, we discover the most human side of each and their personal interests.
This photographic report is part of “The secret life of a plant biologist”, a scientific communication project led by the postdoctoral researcher Michela Osnato, that aims to inform the general public about the importance of research in plant biology, improve the scientific culture of society and break the negative stereotypes associated with this profession.
Visit the exhibition, framed within the Science Week 2019, at the ground floor of Communication Library and General Newspaper Archives, until January 17, 2020.
