"She Said is an inspiring story about people, many of them women and mothers, who found the courage to speak out and demand justice for themselves and for the future", the synopsis highlights.

The film, directed by Maria Schrader and scripted by Rebecca Lenkiewicz, reconstructs the journalistic investigation that finished off years of impunity from the producer Harvey Weinstein and started the #MeToo movement, which has helped to make public the stories of many women who have been victims of sexual abuse. This film, which releases exclusively on 28th December in cinemas, is based on the story of Rebecca Corbett, Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey, the three New York Times reporters (the last two women that published the book She Said in 2019) who revealed Weinstein's abuse of dozens of women who, for decades, were silenced because of his coercion and the judicial branch turned a blind eye.

The drama, produced by Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B Entertainment is the story of different journalists and editors that were involved in the search for the truth and the courage of the first witnesses to denounce the crimes of an abuser and blame the system that had allowed his atrocities.
