For the second consecutive year, the Parliament is opening a call for paid internships aimed at university students. This institution offers fourteen positions for 2025: nine from March to June and five from September to December. Students interested in applying for either semester must submit their applications through the Parliament's website by 21 November. The Parliament started this paid internship programme this year, in which five students participated.

The positions available for next year are open to undergraduate or postgraduate students from diverse fields of study such as law, human resources, graphic design, education, IT, linguistic consultancy, communication, or science and technology.

On the one hand, the nine positions offered by the institution for the first semester are in the following departments: Human Resources, Publications, Linguistic Advice, Parliamentary Management, Institutional Relations, IT, the Advisory Council on Science and Technology (CAPCIT), and Legal Services. On the other hand, the five positions available for the second semester (September to December) are in Document Management and Information Recourses, Communication, IT, the Parliamentary Classroom (Aula Parlament), Institutional Relations, and CAPCIT.

The general terms and conditions of these training placements detail various aspects, such as monthly remuneration of €600 for undergraduates and €800 for postgraduates, based on a 25-hour workweek, along with the selection criteria and the appointment of tutors. The specific terms detail the positions offered, and the requirements candidates must meet. Once the selection process is complete, the Parliament may formalise an educational cooperation agreement with the university where the selected candidate is enrolled.

Applications can be submitted electronically until 21 November via a dedicated portal on the Parliament's website, where you can find more information about this call.
