The Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya has published the call for scholarships of the Legal Advisory Commission that is aimed at people who have graduated in law during the last five years. Applications can be submitted until October 7 inclusive.

The Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya has published the call for scholarships of the Legal Advisory Commission that is aimed at people who have graduated in law during the last five years. It is important to note:

1. The grants will be extended from 1 January 2025, or from the date set by the award resolution, whichever is later, until 31 December 2025 at the latest, without the possibility of extension.

2. The competent bodies for the processing and resolution of the grants provided for in this call, the requirements for participation, the documentation to be provided, the deadline for the conclusion of the award procedure, as well as the information on the means of notification of the resolution, among other issues, are governed by the Agreement of the Plenary of the Legal Advisory Commission,   of 29 June 2023, approving the regulatory bases for collaboration and training grants in the doctrine of the Commission, published by the Resolution of 3 July 2023, of the president of the Legal Advisory Commission (DOGC no. 8953, of 7.7.2023), and the general regulations on subsidies.

3. The submission of the application, accompanied by the mandatory documentation, and the completion of the rest of the procedures associated with the procedure for awarding the scholarships, must be carried out, preferably, by electronic means, through the website Trámites gencat (https://web.gencat.cat/ca/tramits/23487). It can also be carried out by any of the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, or at the Legal Advisory Commission, Plaza Nova 2-3, 08002 Barcelona. In any case, the application form, which is mandatory, can be downloaded through the Trámites gencat website.

4. The deadline for submitting applications is 20 calendar days from the day following the publication of this Agreement in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

5. The amount of each of the scholarships is 1,300 euros gross per month, which will be paid to the beneficiary in arrears. The corresponding personal income tax and Social Security withholding must be applied to this amount. The payment of the scholarships is made from item D/480003000/1110/0000 of the expenditure budget of the Legal Advisory Commission for the year 2025. The granting of the grants is conditional on there being sufficient credit in the budget of the Generalitat of Catalonia for the financial year 2025 in the corresponding budgetary application.

6. The decision to award the scholarships, which is the responsibility of the president of the Legal Advisory Commission, puts an end to the administrative procedure. The maximum period for resolving and notifying the concession resolution is six months, which is counted from the day following the date of publication of the call in the DOGC. An appeal for reconsideration may be lodged against the aforementioned resolution with the President of the Legal Advisory Committee within one month from the day following its publication, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be lodged directly with the Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Catalonia within two months from the day following its publication.   in accordance with the provisions of ISSN 1988-298X https://www.gencat.cat/dogc  DL B 38014-2007 2/3 Diari Oficial de la Generalitat de Catalunya No. 9248 - 16.9.2024 CVE-DOGC-A-24248045-2024 articles 77 of Law 26/2010, of 3 August, on the legal and procedural regime of the public administrations of Catalonia; 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October,  of the common administrative procedure of public administrations, and 10.1.a), 14 and 46 of Law 29/1998, of 13 July, regulating the contentious-administrative jurisdiction. Likewise, interested persons may file any other appeal they deem appropriate to defend their interests.

7. Applications can be submitted up to and including 7 October.
