Hans Daiber makes a donation to the UAB
The bibliophile and collector has assembled an important library specialising in Islamic thought, Arab philosophy and Ramon Llull, which he has now donated to the Humanities Library of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Hans Daiber (1942), specialist in Arabic and Islam, was professor at the Free University of Amsterdam (1977-1995) and at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main (1995-2010), and at other universities.
Now retired and living in Mallorca, the bibliophile and collector has assembled an important library specialising in Islamic thought, Arab philosophy and Ramon Llull, which he has decided to donate to the Humanities Library of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
This donation comes at the initiative of UAB ICREA research lecturers Alexander Fidora and Matthias M. Tischler, from the Department of Antiquity and Medieval Studies and the Institute of Medieval Studies, with the collaboration of the research project MICINN PID2020- 112592GB-I00, led by researcher Fidora.
