A call for the Scholarship Applications for the attendance to the XVIII Encuentro de Representantes de Estudiantes de Criminología (EREC XVIII) is being made. Here are the most important aspects.

Base I: Scholarship Description

The Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology at the Faculty of Law announces two scholarships for attendance at the XVIII Encuentro de Representantes de Estudiantes de Criminología (EREC XVII), which will take place in Murcia from November 25 to November 29, 2024.

Base II: Scholarship Fund

The scholarship fund covers 50% of the registration fee.

Base III: Candidate Requirements

  • Applicants must meet the following requirements:
    1. Be students of the Bachelor's Degree in Criminology at UAB.

Base IV: Application Procedure

  • Those interested in applying for the scholarship may submit their applications to the Criminology Degree Coordinator from October 28 to October 31, 2024.

  • Student representation activities
  • Curriculum vitae

Base VI: Procedure for Awarding Scholarships

  • To establish the order of priority among eligible applications, the following selection criteria will be considered. The selected individuals will be those who achieve the highest score based on the following criteria:
    1. Academic transcript (60 points)
    2. Student representation activities (20 points, 5 points per year)
    3. Curriculum vitae (20 points)

Base VII: Resolution

  • The resolution of the call will be published on November 5, 2025, on the Criminology degree website, including the list of scholarships awarded, denied, and any waiting list, if applicable.

Base VIII: Scholarship withdrawal

  • Any beneficiary may withdraw from the scholarship by returning the amount received to UAB during the academic year in which the withdrawal occurs.
  • To formalise the withdrawal, you must contact the coordinator of the Bachelor's Degree in Criminology.

Base IX: Data Protection

  • The data provided by the candidates will be incorporated into a file managed by the Autonomous University of Barcelona to manage the applications and resolution processes of the scholarships, as well as the corresponding payments.
  • According with Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, individuals may exercise their rights of access, rectification and cancellation of their data before the coordinator of the Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology.
