Wednesday 9 October marks the beginning of the period for consulting the electoral roll of the groups that can vote electronically on 29 and 30 October to choose the new rector. It is important that all members of the university community called to vote check the electoral roll to verify the electoral sector in which they are included (A, B, C or D).

The deadline for submitting claims on the provisional census is from 10 to 16 October. Claims can be made through the form available on the election web page or at the General Registry (in person or telematically). Once the incidents have been resolved, the definitive census lists will be published on 18 October.

The elections to choose a new rector will be conducted entirely by electronic voting. This system allows a more agile management of the vote count and facilitates the process of voting, which will be done through the platform prepared for this purpose, with the use of the usual NIU and password to gain access. Any person who is part of the census will be able to cast their vote from any computer terminal at their workstation or from any device with Internet connection, from anywhere (without the need of being on campus).

The period for the submission of candidacies will open on 10 October and end on 16 October. Nominations must be submitted to the General Registry using the form published on the election web page. The final proclamation of candidacies will be on 21 October.

For any questions or clarifications regarding the elections, interested parties may contact the Institutional Coordination Office at the following address: eleccions@uab.cat.
