The iceberg of gender violence: an approach from statistical modelling

The Applied Statistics Service of the UAB organises a conference entitled "The Iceberg of Gender Violence: an approach from statistical modelling", which will analyse the number of weekly diagnoses of gender violence registered into the primary healthcare system of one of the largest areas of Catalonia, estimate the magnitude of non-reported cases and assess the impact of awareness-raising educational activities offered to professionals in 2019. David Moriña from the Department of Econometrics, Statistics and Applied Economics at the University of Barcelona and member of the Riskcenter-IREA will be the guest speaker at the conference.
